Premier Berisha received on Thursday a delegation with representatives of Chamber of Commerce of Lyon, headed by President, Guy Mathiolon.
During the meeting, they congratulated Premier Berisha for the success of Albanian government reforms and expressed their great interest in opening a branch of Lyon’s Chamber of Commerce in Albania. The representatives of the delegation of Lyon Chamber of Commerce said that they have started preparatory meetings for this project, and about 40 French companies have expressed their interest in joining this project. We are optimist for the progress of this project and urge establishment of close relations between French and Albanian business.
The Lyon representatives expressed the interest of French business for investments in infrastructure, energy and tourism, and made evident the desire to extend economic cooperation between both countries.
They said that the capacities of Lyon region fit the needs of Albanian market and expressed their conviction that this cooperation would be fruitful. Thanking the French representatives, Premier Berisha expressed the support of Albania government for realization of their projects in Albania.
I would be very happy to see investments of French business in Albania, premier said, informing the representatives of the aforesaid Chamber of the advantages of our country for investments.
Particularly, Premier made evident the great potentials of Albania in the field of infrastructure, tourism and energy.
Premier said Albania has the most favorable market in Europe, emphasizing the geographical position of our country in the middle of European and region markets.
