Prime Minister Sali Berisha attended today the commemorative conference in respect of Albania former ambassador to the USA, Ljublin Dilja, who passed away several days ago following a serious disease.
Premier Berisha expressed again his condolences to the Diljas family members and other relations and considered Lublin Dilja’s death as a heavy loss for his friends and colleagues.
Dilja used to be a model citizen, appreciated the premier, who embodied in himself the most brilliant qualities of citizenship; he used to be a gifted lecturer, a great intellectual and well-educated.
The premier highlighted that the late Dilja was appointed to the most important post of Albanian diplomacy, to represent the country in Washington, the capital of world diplomacy. “He began his diplomatic career without any experience, but thanks to his gift and devotion he accomplished the job with dignity”, emphasized the premier.
Attending the commemorative conference in respect of the senior diplomat Dilja were the Minister for Foreign Affairs Lulzim Basha, former ministers of foreign affairs, representatives of the diplomatic corps and relations of Mr. Dilja.
